I really struggled to get a grasp with Matt Smith - and actually only watched a couple of episodes of the last season (I can't say I regret that, maybe because I don't know what I've missed), because, IDK, I'm certain he's an awesome actor, but as the Doctor, he just didn't quite fit that Time-Lord shaped space in my head, for some reason. I can't really describe why, but I just felt like there was something important that wasn't being captured, and I just wasn't bothered about missing it when it was showing. :/
The loss of David was agreeably difficult, though. :P

@Taia: yeah I know what you meant about Matt. It took me a while to warm to his character and it may be (and here is where people are going to hit me) because of Amy and River. I liked Rory, and I didn't mind Amy and River at the end, but they really irritated me at the beginning - probably because I just found Donna to be the best companion the Doctor could have because she reminded of his human side and kept him sane without ever being more than just his best friend. I just found it difficult to adjust to another 'bestest friend ever' of the Doctor's, because he had already had Donna and she had disappeared in such a horribly sad way :/
but towards the end of the Amy/Rory/River series, and during the Clara series, I really started to love Matt. So, yeah it's going to be really sad to see him go just as I'm really loving him, but it wont be as hard as it was with David (don't make me start on that, oh god), and it's going to be interesting to see how they develop and change the series with Peter :)

My knitting went wrong, and I went into a fixing frenzy beacuse I'm a perfectonist and will go mad on trying to fix things sometimes, and then I was really frustrated, and my mum and dad were annoyed with me (which was entirely my fault. :P), and I was really annoyed at having to solve the problem that they were annoyed at me for beacuse I wanted to fix my knitting and when they were speaking I was hardly paying attention because I NEEDED TO FIX MY KNITTING and Hunter's been really depressed all today and yesterday, so that wasn't really helping anything, and now I've fixed my knitting so it's all good. :)

I shouldn't have, and next time, I really hope I'll remember that and just stay silent even if I'm angry and upset. And even though I regret it loads, I still want to do it again and correct everyone, beacsue I'm a perfectonist who's mad on fixing things, remember? -_-It took me ages to give up on trying to make my irl friend see how awesome Disturbed were. I'd convince myself to shut up about it, and then one day I sent her a text at half midnight remaking a point, and then five/fifteen/something *can't remember* minutes later I sent her another text saying "ignore the last one." It's like when I sent an explosive angry email to someone, and then a few minutes later I sent them another one telling them to ignore the first. You know, I often know, when I'm being angry, that if I say this or that I'll regret it, and then I go and do it anyway beacuse I'm thinking "It needs to be said, and I need to hurry up and say it now beacuse the regret hits me." ANd then I feel like such an idiot later for saying it even though I knew I'd regret it. ANd I'm not too sure where I'm going with this. YOu don't have to reply. :)*
