So I was thinking about this discussion from a long time ago about role models, and so I decided to dedicate the page to all these people who have inspired me. And the other people who have inspired me, but I didn't write a speech about.
Vi Hart
Her videos are the epitome of awesomeness, 'nuff said! Also, if I don't hate math, she's probably a big reason why. She's inspired me to experiment with doodling fractals and a lot of other stuff that's actually interesting. Also, we share a love of snakes. More, though, she's a role model for me in the sense that she's so creative and quirky and people love her for it. I had a really good speech about Vi and creativity, but I sort of deleted it by accident. Oh, also I sort of took my middle name because of her.

Jillian is my favorite contestant I've seen on the American version of the X Factor. When she sings, you can hear in her voice all the pain that she's been through, and it sticks in your mind. She was bullied a lot for who she was, and yet she's managed to rise above it; that's why I admire her. And her entire audition made me cry both happy and sad tears. She's amazing.

I guess she isn't exactly a "role model," but I'm counting her anyway. Hayley's voice is beautiful, and she has inspired me to do more music-y stuff. :-P
I should probably point out that Jillian and Hayley are near opposites. Hayley's voice is unnaturally high and smooth and clear, while Jillian's is lower-pitched, rougher and very natural. They're both perfect for who they are, and you're perfect for who you are. Never be disappointed that you aren't someone else. Yeah.

Some authors who have inspired me are Shakespeare, Laura Ruby, Ingrid Law, Angie Sage, Ally Carter, Rick Riordan, Tamora Pierce and of course:

Well, that goes without saying. I'd probably write considerably less if SP didn't exist. Also, I wouldn't have met all you, and actually a lot of you have inspired me, too.
So I'm gonna finish off by dedicating to you guys, since I have two more pages to ded.
((Note: These are not people I want to be exactly like. That's not what the term "role model" means to me. Actually, a big part of why these people have inspired me is the fact that they're completely and utterly them. Although they've helped shape who I am, I like to think of myself as the first Fabi and not the second someone else.))
