Wow.
Okay, that was one of the most fun competitions I've run so far. The Exquisite Corpse competition is shaping up brilliantly— the standard on display is just mind-boggling— but the Spirit Lake contest has just been fun from start to finish.
So here's what I did.
I collected all of the names of the people who entered, both here on this Blog and on Twitter, and I divided them into bundles. I made sure that each and every one had a valid reason for why they should be a video game character. Some of these reasons made sense. Some were just odd. Some were VERY odd. There are people, both Minions and Ronda Rousey fans, who are just unsettling. I'm not entirely sure how their brains work— if indeed their brains work at all.
To give you a hint of what I've been dealing with, here are a few reasons you people gave. "Because of my neurax worms." "Because I like pie." "Because I'm short.""Because I've watched Robot Wars.""Because I have a psychic elephant.""Because I have a need for speed.""Because I'm not very smart (which will make the player feel better about themselves).""Because I am Dr Who.""Because I sometimes think that I'm the only human being in the world. The rest of you are all aliens.""I would make an awesome video game character because I already AM an awesome video game character.""Because I am actually Lakota (the Spirit Lake people are my Dakota relatives)."
So I divided you all up, and those of you who entered multiple times got your names put into as many groups as possible. From each of these groups, a winner was chosen. The winners were then put into a hat.
(Not an ACTUAL hat, since I don't own one, but a METAPHORICAL hat.)
(Okay, fine, I wrote all your names on a sheet of paper and I let my cat walk on it, and the closest one to where her tail touched down was the winner.)
And sooooo... without further ado... the winner is...
Willow Kowalski!
Yayyyyyyy Willow! The only thing I know about Willow is that she's five years old (so, er, she can wait a few years before she starts reading my books) and she's a Ronda fan... It's a lovely prize, and I can't think of anyone it'd make happier.

I got my phone confiscated today! The Head of Year Seven confiscated it because I was on it in the corridor (in the lunch queue). Everyone is always on their phones in the lunch queue and the only person who accepts it as a rule is her. However, I am an unobservant person so I never notice when she comes up. :P
I've only had it confiscated from there two or three times - she isn't usually there.
Last time she confiscated it, I was on my phone reading comments, and she came up to me and spoke to me, and I didn't hear her (because I am rather selective-attention and can only concentrate on one thing fully at a time, which is why I can't listen to music and read or talk and do work. I was focused on reading and wasn't paying attention to the outside world at all, which I often do when reading things (scratch that, it's way more often than often) so I didn't realise she was standing in front of me talking to me until my friend hit me on the arm), so she thought I was ignoring her. D:
Then whenever she confiscates my phone I start crying even though I'm not upset, because I have odd reactions like that. :P
So I started crying today and it was embarrassing. -_-
When I was little I used to smile whenever I got into trouble (because I reacted like that. Not because I thought it was funny or I was being defiant or because I felt like smiling), so my parents told me over and over to look down when I got told off. :P
Sorry, getting your phone confiscated is probably not a big deal to anyone, but it's a big deal to me because the times I really get in trouble is when I get told off for not paying attention or for not doing my homework.
So this is like The Worst Thing I Have Done In School All Year.
Except it isn't because I wasn't doing anything wrong beacuse it isn't a proper rule, but if it had been a rule, it would be. *Nialldles*

Peeta’s fingers lace together with mine as we walk into the shallower waters of the sea. Ever since I got him back we’ve been working on getting him better at swimming, and he has improved so much more than I ever imagined he would. Annie allows us to stay in District Four with her whenever we want to, so we find ourselves here fairly often.
"Did you see that walrus!?" Peeta asks, half-laughing, when the water is only up to our ankles.
"Walrus?" I frown, knitting my eyebrows together out of confusion. "Just because we were swimming in the sea, does not mean there were walruses, Peeta." I smile, kissing him. "I think you swallowed a little too much salt-water. It's not good for you, you know?"
He frowns at me, "I saw a walrus, though..."
"I didn't... But, you know what I do see?" I grin at him.
He raises an eyebrow inquisitively.
"I see the man I love right in front of me. And I never want to lose him."
"I love you too, Katniss." he says, his lips brushing mine as he speaks. "
I'm about to go to kiss him when he gets down onto one knee even though we’re still stood in the sea and he produces a small box from his pocket, that looks to be completely dry, somehow.
I frown, "What-"
"Katniss Everdeen," he interrupts. "Will you do me the honour of being my wife? For real, not for the Capitol's fun games."
"I..." tears begin to form in my eyes, and I don't know why - shock? Excitement? Fear?
He flips open the box to reveal a small silver ring with only a pearl on it; my pearl, which he gave me in the Quarter Quell arena - I'd recognize it anywhere.
"Yes," I breathe. "Yes!" I repeat, pulling him to his feet, kissing him hard and wrapping my arms around him.
We are so close together that when we kiss we are like one, and are almost indistinguishable. When our lips part, our foreheads keep close together so when one of us speaks, our lips brush the other’s.
Peeta’s eyes seem to study mine as he speaks again, “Real or not real, you’ll be mine for the rest of our lives?”
This answer takes no thought from me, and I smile at him, “Real, without a doubt.” We kiss again, this time more passionately, and I can taste the saltiness from the sea on his lips. This is how it is meant to be, for me, with Peeta being mine and me being his.

Hey, I was on this inflatable thing with my friend at the swimming pool yesterday, and the first time we went on it, I leaned on this inflatble poley thing stikcing up and it gave way and I fell in and /embarrassment.
None of the little kids were fslling in! :P
And then we were on it for the fourth time, and there was this ball thing sticking up in the centre. An you're meant to go over it. And I'd been over in the previous two times (the first, I'd fallen off before getting to it). But I thought, this time, I'll do it differently and go round it, because . . . I can't describe the feelings exactly, but it was something like, I'm awesome enough to pull it off and I'm better than most off the little people on the inflatable beacuse they're just little, and I'm older than them so can do more stuff.
So I tried to go round it.
And I fell off.
*giggles*
THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR TRYING TO BE CLEVER.
I was just like ohmygoshNOOOOOOOOO because it's embarrassing enough falling off ONCE. *shakes head*
My friend, like a normal person, fell off no times. :P
Then we went on it a fifth time and I tried to be smart again just to obstinately prove I could do it, and I did it and didn't fall off. *nods*
I am good, btw. :)
Should stop talking and get on with homework now . . . D:

Well, depressing can be awesome, and also, subjects that are deemed depressing are actually serious and about life and death. Or just about life. Or just about death. EIther way, they're important. And the depressing stuff IS the important stuff. I'm talking about depressing emotions here. Cheerfulness is just the emotional fuel to keep you going. *nods*

I HAVE SEEN BLOGLANDIANS ON GOOGLE+ WITH MORE OUTLANDISH NAMES THAN MINE (seriously, what kind of name is Zathract??? Errrrr . . . no offense. Zathract is a cool name. It begins with Z, so therefore it looks totally awesome. But I bet there are WAY more people called STAR than bloody ZATHRACT), AND I'M THE ONE GETTING A BLOODY EMAIL??????????

It never works right. Whenever I try to add someone as a friend, for example, it won't let me. It was grrrrrr. So after trying valiently for a while, I gave up on Google+.
