I dedicate this page to Avenged Sevenfold, because they are absolutely amazing. I'm not even kidding. There are some bands who just have wonderful lyrics, and some who have wonderful sound, and then there's some which have both and it's just WHOA WAIT WHAT. I could just listen to Avenged Sevenfold all day because they sound so awesome, and their lyrics are usually so meaningful and it's like ARGHHHHHHHH ASDFGHJKL.
. . . their songs are also so LONGGGG. I've just been playlisting their album City of Evil, and they don't have a single song under five minutes. To top that off, five songs are over seven minutes. When there's only eleven songs, that's quite a lot.

I've been here a year and a half now, and I'm part of Blogland. It's just part of my life. I can't really fanthom my life without it. If I suddenly left . . . my life would kind of have no purpose. Without Blogland, I would be 500 times worse at cheering people up. I wouldn't be into awesome music. I would have read fewer awesome books. I would still be kind of scared of being myself. I would still think 'perfect' meant 'flawless'. I wouldn't know how to love people like I do know. I wouldn't be in the habit of asking people how they were. I would have done much less art and writing. Maybe no writing.

Ha, I have the same issues. I can never draw anything that clear (yet also unclear) of an idea. :P
Hm. Try putting a playlist or something on shuffle, and sketching something in the space of each song - just whatever comes to mind/hand - and if you come up with something you like, particularly, you've found something to draw, right? :)

But, if you can find each of those mistakes, or things that aren't quite perfect, then you can also see how you could improve it, and, in doing so, you are learning.
Every fault is a rock around which you can begin the winding of a whole string of improvement.
(That said, I still think it's brilliant. :P)
(And the fact that it can make sadness in the feels of other people is also an incredible thing - that it has the power to change the way a person thinks/feels at a time. That's pretty amazing, no?)

They might be my favourite books I've read, actually.
Landy never made me cry (but I haven't read KotW or TMS yet. And accidental-I-swear-it-wasn't-my-fault spoilers for TMS have made me worry, I guess... :P), but Patrick Ness made me cry on a few occasions throughout the books.
And Ness taught me a LOT in those books, and they helped me too catch things that I needed to catch.
But, that said, Derek brought me Blogland, and that's been over-two-years with some of the most awesome people in existence, who've also helped me immensely, of course, so I guess I owe Derek & SP some points for that... :P

George had always been one for adventuring. I remember when we were small, no older than 9; we would always manage to find the smallest places, and squeeze into them. Our bodies touching in the tightly packed areas. He would smile at me, and I would smile back, and there would be no better place to hide.
Once I remember when I got a cut on his knee, as we crawled out of a particularly stony area. Blood started to trickle down my leg, and I had let out a small whimper. he went to run to the house, maybe get one of our parents, or an older sibling. But I wouldn't let him leave my side, so he didn't. He had to pick me up, and he carried me, bundled in his arms, all the way back to the house.
I had felt safe in his arms. And now I hoped he felt safe in mine. Because now he was leaving. and there was nothing i could do. I had to sit there, and hold George close. Hold him in my long arms, they shook constantly as i tried to support the weight of both of us. I could feel it start to rain, and normally I would have flipped. But i didn't, I tried to stay strong for George, and I could see it in his dying eyes. I could SEE how much it was hurting him, and I wish he knew how much it was hurting me.
His hair started to plaster in his face, and mine did the same. Rain mixed with my tears, both ending up landing on the dying man; MY dying man. I gave him a weak half-smile, and he failed to return it. But that didn't matter to me.
I squeezed his hand, and his own gentle touch tried to return it. Seconds passed like hours as I stared into his deep green glazing eyes.
My heart throbbed twice as hard, as if beating for him as well. He started to close his eyes, and I bent in, stroking his for head to try keep them as open and alive as before.
I didn't hear his last breath, and i didn't feel his last pulse. I just knew they had happened at a time that was too late to do anything about it. I buried myself onto his chest, which didn't give a usual rise and fall. It still felt warm, but i knew that would pass. And I lie there, my mind losing all its joy. Knowing that life will never be the same.

Zaf tossed her/his head backwards and fowards. as if something large was stuck in her/his throat. A short man stepped foward, running up to her/his back, and hitting in between the shoulder blades,as if trying to help the grand mage/elder (is that right?) to cough it up. The attempts however were failed, and Zaf's face turned a bright blue, as the walls around her/him spun.
in moments she/he was out, lying dead on the ground.
One of the mages bent down to his/her side. letting his power of x0ray vision he looked into the elders/grand mages throat. He turned to the rest of the mages who sat against the wall horrfied.
"Zaf died from swallowing a teaspoon." He announced. the room fell silent in mourn.

I was in London last week, and as much as there were things that maybe I like, there are certain things I don't think I, or my mind, could handle very well.
Like, crossing the road at the same place/time as fifty other people. And walking down a street where it seems that everybody else is going the opposite way, and you can't keep from being walked into.
Or being met a lightspeed bicycle every time you touch foot off the pavement.
And the damn travel card things not actually working, ever. :P
That's probably just me, though. :P
