Actually, I'm being especially strange tonight, but that's because I'm excitedly inviting back all my old friends and hoping they'll show up soon one of these days.
Another of my favorite movies also has Sandra Bullock in it, and that's While You Were Sleeping. Seriously, you MUST find a way to watch these two movies. They're absolutely brilliant 8]
I like the Secret Series, Anna Dressed in Blood, the Gallagher Girls books (except the first was kinda ehh, picked up the second one first by mistake), Percy Jackson, all the usual except Harry Potter.
If only I had some special talent... Ah, well, maybe I'll write a book by next year, and... er... show off... be the first of Derek Landy's minions to write a book and get it published or... something xD.
I just don't like that Harry is famous and cool before he's done anything. I mean, sure he survived You-know-who when he was a baby, and has that special scar of his, but, it's nothing he earned, nothing he did... The books are exciting and well-written and stuff, I just don't like them. [shrugs] I read the first four, so maybe I'm not the best judge of them, but they're really not my style, I guess.
Yeah, it's a cool book, not the best to read right before bed, though, some parts are a bit gruesome. My mom would hate it. [laughs]
The Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch is sort of younger books, but I really like the attitude to them, the personality... They're just enjoyable. [shrugs]
The first movie they made of it was terrible. I have higher hopes for the second, however. It looked as if they learned their lesson and are keeping more to the actual BOOK! Plus it has Nathan Fillion [a actor from Firefly, in case you didn't know] in it at some point, so that's promising.
Really, though, I like a lot of books that tend to be towards a younger audience. Fablehaven was pretty good. I'm about half-way through this book called Runemarks, and it's definitely awesome!
The movie was horrid, I liked Annabeth's personality the way it was, thank you very much, and how are they going to continue with the wrong villain and I could rant about it for ages, but I won't.
Oh, I know, Fabi! I know exactly how you feel! I experienced it first with Eragon. Good heavens, was THAT a disappointment T_T. I would have thought they learned their lesson with it and not ruined the Percy Jackson series...., but I was wrong. -_-

Um, actually, I thought the cover was kinda average I mean, beautifully drawn, but the context of it just didn't affect me the same way it did others. A lot of people looked at it and saw Val hurt or dead or something. All I see it just another fight scene where Skulduggery's checking on Val. It doesn't seem that out of the ordinary for me

Well, everyone seems to like The Mortal Instruments, and I'm like... why? xD
I definitely enjoyed the Percy Jackson series.
It was also the one series I actually got my older brother Mark to read and like!
Yeah, it's a cool book, not the best to read right before bed, though, some parts are a bit gruesome. My mom would hate it. [laughs]
The Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch is sort of younger books, but I really like the attitude to them, the personality... They're just enjoyable. [shrugs]

The first movie they made of it was terrible.
I have higher hopes for the second, however. It looked as if they learned their lesson and are keeping more to the actual BOOK! Plus it has Nathan Fillion [a actor from Firefly, in case you didn't know] in it at some point, so that's promising.

Really, though, I like a lot of books that tend to be towards a younger audience. Fablehaven was pretty good. I'm about half-way through this book called Runemarks, and it's definitely awesome!
I haven't read them, so I can't really say on that one.

The movie was horrid, I liked Annabeth's personality the way it was, thank you very much, and how are they going to continue with the wrong villain and I could rant about it for ages, but I won't.

I mean, beautifully drawn, but the context of it just didn't affect me the same way it did others.
A lot of people looked at it and saw Val hurt or dead or something. All I see it just another fight scene where Skulduggery's checking on Val. It doesn't seem that out of the ordinary for me
