And it was a 1D one. And another girl on the table asked who Kevin was. And me and her started explaining he was 1D's pigeon at the same time. And the girl who'd asked was like how do you two KNOW? And she was like coz I'm a DIrectioner. And I was like coz I have an online friend who is OBSESSED with 1D. And the DIrectioner-girl said "She's not as obsessed as I am." And I didn't want to argue so I just sort of smiled, but I was thinking, Mara is most obsessed than you, I bet. :)
Mara, my sis was taking ages to look through the accessories to find a bracelet that looked good with her hip hip costume (I voted for the one with skulls on it, but apparently no on that) so I was really bored. And then I turned around and saw...a 1D toothbrush! And then I of course thought about you and then Blogland and fun times in Blogland Truth or Dare and Coco being a barbie and it was hilarious! XD

It was lucky that not more lives were taken when the bomb hit but the devastation and injuries were just as horrific that it would have been an act of mercy for them to be killed.
Now I know that America had been taken a low blow when Japan had attacked Pearl Harbor, but the Japanese did it in a regular fashion that would be considered classic war methods.
But atomic bombs at that time were considered to be monstrosities, it's almost the equivalent of what America look for in the Eastern countries in the modern day: weapons of mass destruction.
The Japanese started it. They joined the war because of Germany, and they saw an opportunity to weaken America before America could demolish them.
However, America swore to be neutral in the war, with the fighting, and they only provided Britain with weaponry and such, but refused to take in the battle itself.
Were it not for the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbour, America would not have joined the war. So, technically, we should be thankful for the bombing of Pearl Harbour. Also, thankfully for us, most of the planes at Pearl Harbour weren't actually on Pearl Harbour, so the damage taken was barely a thing. What was truly hurt was America's pride; they'd never been attacked on their home land before. And, being American, they saw it as an act of war, before war was even declared, and joined because of that.
America played a large part in our side winning the war. :) We'd be German without America. Which is made up heavily of people of Irish descent, thanks to the potato famine, and Boom Time. :)
Ikr It's kinda scary the weather is so nice. But it's also really nice. I have a school football/camogie blitz this week and sports day next week. Which is two days of not doing schoolwork:) thank you sun. I'm jealous of all those people in secondary who are off and getting great weather for the start of their holidays. Oh, me and my other friend was giving another of my friends a talk today XD She's so innocent it's like awwww, but I won't go into it, obviously;) It was basically loads of innuendo.
I said when my exams and stuff were over, I'd start reading again. The first thing I want to read, when I do, is Jonathan Safran Foer's 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close'. I just read a two-chapter preview, and OMGG. The imagination & detail that he put into it is pretty incredible, imo. It's written in an unusual and unconventional style, but it seems to have its own kind of fluency, and it's just, like, "wow". The second chapter, and my brain was just like "Holy cats!". I'd like to find pieces I could take out and just stick here as quotations, but I think I'd end up typing out the entire two chapters. My opinion, of course, but, yeah. C:
Omg my book this reminds me of in I think it was TFO and Skulduggery said we're not retreating we're advancing in reverse. In my book it said 'I'm no running away I'm simply choosing to take a long detour' does anyone else think that that seems like the sort of thing Skulduggery would say?

I said when my exams and stuff were over, I'd start reading again.
The first thing I want to read, when I do, is Jonathan Safran Foer's 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close'.
I just read a two-chapter preview, and OMGG. The imagination & detail that he put into it is pretty incredible, imo. It's written in an unusual and unconventional style, but it seems to have its own kind of fluency, and it's just, like, "wow".
The second chapter, and my brain was just like "Holy cats!". I'd like to find pieces I could take out and just stick here as quotations, but I think I'd end up typing out the entire two chapters.
My opinion, of course, but, yeah. C:
