Just to let you know that World Book Day is this Thursday (well, it is in this part of the world, anyway) and to celebrate Alex Barclay and myself will be holding two events. The first, in Kildare, is pretty much sold out, but the second one is in Easons in O'Connell Street, Dublin, at 6 PM. We'll be there, talking about... stuff... and books... and writing... and, er... annnnnyway...
Because this is somewhat last minute, I'm not expecting that many people to turn up to the Dublin event, which means it'll be a lot more casual and chatty than usual. If you're interested, get in touch with Easons to reserve a place, and we'll see you there.

It's depressing as fuck, but god it's beautiful.
Everybody knows what I've gone through in the last two to three months. And at least everybody has seen and been there through my best and worst times... even my drunk times. I can't thank you all enough for being there whenever you could and trying to make things better, you are all amazing.
But I just can't go on.
I've wanted to die for a long time and it's just gotten worse as the months have started to progress. My time is now running so slow it's becoming agonizing and the pain is worsening with every day that passes. I've lost everything within me to fight anymore. I've lost so much that I'm almost a robot. Trying not to surrender into the emotions that grip me tightly every day.
So this is my goodbye. This is my thank you. This is just to let you all know that it had nothing to do with any of you. I have just lost it in me to try and battle. I'm tired of fighting for something that should never have been taken away from me in the first place. I have just given in because right now, in this moment, it is the right thing to do.
