Just to let you know that World Book Day is this Thursday (well, it is in this part of the world, anyway) and to celebrate Alex Barclay and myself will be holding two events. The first, in Kildare, is pretty much sold out, but the second one is in Easons in O'Connell Street, Dublin, at 6 PM. We'll be there, talking about... stuff... and books... and writing... and, er... annnnnyway...
Because this is somewhat last minute, I'm not expecting that many people to turn up to the Dublin event, which means it'll be a lot more casual and chatty than usual. If you're interested, get in touch with Easons to reserve a place, and we'll see you there.

You know, people say pain is red, but I'm not too sure it has a colour. And I think that sometimes you automatically think of it as red, because that's what society has told you it is. I mean . . . when you associate something with soemthing, you associate iut with it, and you'll associate the word 'pain' with the word 'red' beacuse people will have been saying 'pain and red', and so you'll remember the red and think red, like if you look at something negatively you see it worse than if you look at it positively, if you look at it red you'll see the red, but I don't think it has a colour. It's a bit like glass. Transparent. And I think it could also be black, but then again maybe I say that because Hunter's eyes go black in bad moments like if he was overcome by pain, and so maybe assoications, you know. But anyway, it's quite interesting to think about, and if you're going to be in pain you might as well try and work out the colour of it. You know, if I look at the word 'pain', it's kind of . . . you know. Well, the p is purple, can somtimes be grey-ish and is in this situation, and the a is green and the i is red and the n is orange . . . so it's like of like leaves, you know, green and red and orange, but not purple, so maybe that can be a trunk and FAUVE PAINTING OOOOOOOOOOH.
But when I pull apart a word, it goes these separate colours, so when I just LOOK . . . green/grey, I think, mostly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I ADORE rain. We had a big rainstorm the other day, and I decided to walk to the station without my raincoat. My friends thought I was completely nuts XD

I want to make sure I have it accurate for the Minecraft cause I don't think the one I did build, is living up to your actual treehouse...
My treehouse is too much trouble to make but I'll tell you about the original three-storey design.
To start with, it's massive. Really freaking massive.
The first story has a hallway, which is where you arrive if you go in by climbing up the trunk. There are two rooms on either side, and at the end of the hallway is a kitchen and living area with a couch and a TV on the wall.
Facing that way the kitchen is on the left. Just before the kitchen is the stair case that leads to the upper floors. The two rooms to the right are the Armoury, and the...

The Armoury takes up most of the space though.
The other side has a general fitness area, with a rowing machine and a punching bag and a chin-up bar and stuff. This is along with another room which has various things in it for training, like tape and such.

No, no, that's all the first floor.
My treehouse is crazy.
The second floor consists of a rather large environment training room, which is fitted with a sort of hologram thing which you can use to create different areas and fight/infiltrate in them. There's also the security room, which is where you can go to look at every room of the treehouse at once and the outside of the treehouse as well. The room next to it would be the defence systems room. That would be the whole second floor. I'm pretty sure.

The third floor is mostly balcony. It's got a railing around it but the inside also has my bedroom, which has an attached bathroom. There's a smaller spare bedroom next to it.
In the original version part of the balcony had a roof above it which had hammocks hanging from it, but in the four story version the mirror maze has the same floor size as the other floors, so the entire balcony is covered.
