Actually hold on, we'll get to that in a moment. I have another 15 minutes before I have to post this entry, at 9 PM, and I'm going to use that 15 minutes, dammit. Because I did things today! Things that deserve to be blogged about!
Well, I did ONE thing that deserves to be blogged about. This afternoon I interviewed Steven Moffat, head of all things Doctor Who and Sherlock, on stage at Trinity College, Dublin. I'm pretty sure it wasn't recorded, though, so you're just going to have to take my word for how brilliantly it went. I've never interviewed anyone before— I'm used to being the one interviewed— so it was very interesting to sit in the other chair for a change.
Mr Moffat turned out to be everything I'd hoped he would be— he's a nice guy and he's FUNNY. It was such an informal, casual conversation that it made asking him questions a breeze. I love the shows he makes, as did everyone there, and it was so cool to be able to talk to him about them and not feel like a total nerd.
And for those of you who are wondering, yes, I DID ask him for Karen Gillan's phone number. NO, he did not give it to me. But I think I broke him down sufficiently that all it'll take is one more chance encounter, and then wa-heyyyyy!
Ahem.
Okay, I now have seven minutes until I have to post this entry.
Oh, I'll be doing two publicity events in Ireland on March the 7th. At 10:30 AM in the Riverbank Theatre in Kildare I'll be interviewing (because I do it SO well) Alex Barclay on stage about her new book Curse of Kings.
Later that day, back in Easons in O'Connell Street at 6 PM, Alex and I will be doing... er... some sort of event. We haven't a clue WHAT we'll be doing, to be honest, but it'll be brilliant, and it'll be funny. I swear. Probably.
At both events, we'll be signing whatever you want signed.
Two minutes!
Okay then, here we go. This title has been in my head for years. EVERYTHING in the series has been leading up to Books Eight and Nine, and this is really where it all starts to build to the (hopefully epic) conclusion.

So, it falls to me to write deds for a post on the blog which announces the title of Book 8, previously known as Steve, and the fact that Derek interviewed the Troll King, Moffat. So first, I shall ded to Last Stand of Dead Men. I love the title, and it's grown on me. Though I'm wondering what it means - does it mean that Thrasher will fall over once and for all? Does it mean Skulduggery will die? Does it mean Vex, Shudder and Ghastly will die? Will Derek resurrect Steak just to kill them both? I'm not sure, but I do know that my feels will never be able to recover.
Secondly, I ded to Moffat, for giving us Who and Sherlock, killing out favourite characters - THE PONDS!! WHYYYYYYYY! - and then bringing them back to life, or leaving them in a parallel dimension.
Les Miserables is my next dedication. I have now seen the movie four times, five on Saturday, have started reading the book - Valjean has just appeared, I've got the soundtrack and ASFGDHFJGKFLDKJSHG I'm going to see it in London in April. Its amazing. But what I want to talk most about are the themes in the story. It's all about the struggle for equality, and all the different things that happen along the way. It includes rich characters, like Cossette, who started off poor, and poor characters like Eponine, who started off rich. I think what I'm trying to say here is that the story covers so many different themes, it's perfect, and will always be perfect and feelsy.
I now want to ded to Aaron Tveit. Do I really need a reason?
Friends. This is main ded, I think. I want to ded to all the friends I have made on here, and all the new people I'm always meeting. Even if, you know, most of you continually explode Ireland, you're all perfect. You've all helped me through some really tough times, even if you didn't know it. And you're always there for me, so please don't forget that you're all lovely and brilliant! Luce, Missy, Star, Mara, Fabi, Silver, and many more - you'll all brilliant.

Actually, I haven't read KTOW yet because it wasn't released for forever, so I can't give any solid opinions on that. My only thought would be that, since its mentioned, it's important. Agatha Christie is the perfect example. Everything, no matter how small. If mentioned by the author is important. I'm thinking these boyles could be major players in book eight, but again, it's just speculation.

It wasn't my idea. But my mum thinks I will need one, for school and stuff, plus I think she also wants the mini laptop back as I have basically taken possession of it, so yay. :)
Well, I bought all my stuff Star :) except for my iPod. My aunt gave me that. Cause I still have money from my Communion 4 years ago... *frowns*
