I'm all achey. I've had a long day and I'm tired. All I want to do is go to bed- and yet going to bed before 2 AM always seems like a waste of time. Like there's something I could be doing, some work I could be getting done...
33,000 words done on Book 8, by the way.
This time last year (January 6th) I started KOTW. I had been hideously delayed because of work to the house I'd been having done, and the deadline was fast approaching. So this year, having 33,000 words done by this stage is something of a relief. I am, of course, assuming that I can continue writing at the same rate. So, er, hopefully I can.
Wrote a cool scene yesterday. It involves Fletcher. It involves blood. It involves AWESOMENESS.

...part of me would love to ask for one of my characters to be in the books, but I have several of them and wouldn't know where to start because only two or three of them aren't part of a group of OCs, and the biggest part of me is too nervous to ask and is just letting me put this here so that I can write more than just 'I'm hyped for the next book'.
The way I see it, there's no point in bugging people to update anything, blogs or whatever. I have several ongoing fanfiction series which as I progress I run out of ideas. I know what I'm doing, but I have no idea how to write it, and being bugged about it just makes me slower because then I feel stressed to speed up which makes the writers' block worse because I'm trying to force ideas.

This Sherlock Holmes casebook is AMAZING. It's mostly John's scrapnook of all the cases that we've seenon TV. Sherlock keeps leaving these cynical comments on post-it notes. :) It's awesome.
