I'm all achey. I've had a long day and I'm tired. All I want to do is go to bed- and yet going to bed before 2 AM always seems like a waste of time. Like there's something I could be doing, some work I could be getting done...
33,000 words done on Book 8, by the way.
This time last year (January 6th) I started KOTW. I had been hideously delayed because of work to the house I'd been having done, and the deadline was fast approaching. So this year, having 33,000 words done by this stage is something of a relief. I am, of course, assuming that I can continue writing at the same rate. So, er, hopefully I can.
Wrote a cool scene yesterday. It involves Fletcher. It involves blood. It involves AWESOMENESS.

Just reading through these nutty comments and wanted to say to zaf that her friend would not be so angry if the roles we're reversed and she was going to be written in the book.. I don't know you but i'm sure Derek wouldn't chose an "undeserving" person to be in his book. People will always get jealous zaf. Maybe talk about things with this friend, let them share the experience with you so you can both get excited about it together or something. I'm sure your friend would love being able to say that they're actually friends with one of the characters, maybe help them see it that way.. I'm a hypocrite by telling off Fabi for not writing meaningful deds while I myself can't even write a good one. That *points up* was probably the worst.
Oh, and I'm also upset at myself for getting annoyed at someone who was just trying to be helpful and show me what I was doing wrong with something and helping me do it better. Even if they were being a bit annoying while showing me, I shouldn't have let it get to me.

Like the fact that KotW new paperback is out exactly a month before the Tanith Novella, however it was due for release in March as opposed to February, at first, though the Tanith novella's release interfered with release dates and, so, the KotW new paperback release waa brought forward.
