I'm all achey. I've had a long day and I'm tired. All I want to do is go to bed- and yet going to bed before 2 AM always seems like a waste of time. Like there's something I could be doing, some work I could be getting done...
33,000 words done on Book 8, by the way.
This time last year (January 6th) I started KOTW. I had been hideously delayed because of work to the house I'd been having done, and the deadline was fast approaching. So this year, having 33,000 words done by this stage is something of a relief. I am, of course, assuming that I can continue writing at the same rate. So, er, hopefully I can.
Wrote a cool scene yesterday. It involves Fletcher. It involves blood. It involves AWESOMENESS.

Embarassingly, that's one of the only songs I know the words to. I ha a project on a song, and I ended up picking that one, an listening to it a hundred times.
The weird thing though is that no one actually knows the lyrics because they're so hard to hear in the song. All the lyric site had them different, and all the videos too. Then I found the aucoustic somewhere on YouTube,so now I'm pretty clear on most of the lyrics.

Ooook, enough rambling. "Enough rambling"? Why did I day that? I NEVER ramble enough. Rambling is fun- and Ooo, I want to name someone in the FF Persephone, after the planet. I like that name... Persephone... And Paradise... and the more usual name of "Common." I think those are very good story names. Yes... indeed... only I haven't a clue who can be Persephone since I already... basically have the plot set out..., but I don't have any bad guys [ or rather, girls ] as of yet. So yes, Maybe I'll make one and call her Persephone. Makes me think of Safron. Innocent on the outside, conniving on the inside. Perhaps I'll make her a redhead. Evil innocent females are always redheads in movies. I should probably stick with the theme. Besides, there are far too-few redheads on this earth. The least I can do is throw some into a story :3
Speaking of stories, you know what you should do? You should post about what books you've been reading recently and what you think of them. I seriously enjoy talking about books, and I do it online somewhat excessively. However, that's because I'm deprived of talking about books 'in real life' [I definitely need to come up with a better term for it than 'real life' since I consider this extremely real].
And even more, I like hearing about books and discussing what I think of what other people like, because that opens a whole field... a while CITY of possibilities, which means I've decided you don't get those two days, at least not from me. [Apologies, sincerely]. Because I would very much like a new blog post... ABOUT BOOKS this time. See? I've made it easier for you. You already have a subject. You don't have to think of something to say, although I think if you rambled like I in a post of your own, we minions would find it extremely enjoyable, because we're insane, and just about anything the fan-collecting-man says is interesting, but mostly because it IS interesting because you have a habit of being interesting, which you should take as a complement, since I did mean it that way. ;]

I read what happened this morning...
I expected myself to spend a day being depressed. Instead, I cried for twenty minutes before remembering the promise I made to Chase late last year. And I remembered the conversation we had; never must you say goodbye, it's merely a see you later. Yes, what happened is tragic but Chase asked for me to be there for Em, because there was nothing he wanted more than her happiness.
(my moodswings have been worse than normal, though. And sleep was ridiculous. I probably sound so horrible now:(!)
Em, if you read this, I'm here for you. I wish I could be there for you, however. Sadly, I'm stuck in England wanting to be there to hug you and make you smile. Smiling might seem impossible, right now, but Chase will never leave you. He told me he wanted you to be happy and live a long life. I told him I'd do everything I could to not disappoint him. Which is even more reason for me being here for you whenever you need me. I'll do everything I can to help. I promise.

Em? I can't claim to know Chase really well, but he always seemed really nice to me. I swear on whatever you want me to swear on, I'm not just saying it. He seemed like a genuinely good person. Whatever your beliefs, most people think that being a good person gets you rewarded in the afterlife. Can you think of any reason why Chase would be condemned to suffer hell or wherever? No? No. He was a nice person and many of us liked it. So he'll get repaid for that. Yes.
I doubt I can say anything worthwhile here. Some of these Chase speechs are brilliant. Some (MINE!!!!!) seem a little pointless.

Star, Chase was a good person. He was always there for me despite not knowing me that well. He was, no. He is an amazing person. And I'm honoured to have known him for the little time I did. Matt was perfect and he and Em, as you guys know her, were even more perfect together. Mind the saying, but it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

I've forgotten what I was saying before this, but I was saying, we all have a purpose. Even if our purpose is just to read the newspaper, and with billions of people reading the newspaper, we cause something significant.
Most most most probably, if you didn't exist and so didn't read the newspaper, the great plan wouldn't be changed, because there are plently of other people reading the newspaper.
But we also make unpurposeful, unscripted, significant changes. Even if your original purpose were only to read the newspaper, then you could have in fact changed the world so much just by being friends with a certain person or something that if someone went back in time and killed you then went back to the future, the future would be massively changed.
Maybe these things are all purposes too. Maybe they're all scripted, entangled marvellously, all these overlapping little plans. So complicated, it's amazing.
Maybe they're all planned, yes. But maybe you only have one purpose. To read the newspaper, say. But just because you're boring and ordinary and have a rather simple purpose that could amke you feel rather worthless and unspecial doesn't mean that
a) your purpose isn't important. It is, or you would not have it. Even if all your purpose is is to read the newspaper, you are still helping in the great plan. Chase changed the world. Not in an extreme, noticeable, worldwide way, but he changed it. We're all equally special. He is special. By existing, he made the world better. Not in the short term, definately not, but he had a purpose, I believe. I believe that good came out of there being a Holocaust, even though it was so horrible. There is some good in everything and in the long term . . . it all adds up to goodness.
You guys on here? You all make the world better. And Chase did too. So whilst we may mourn his passing, please be safe in the knowledge that without him, the world would be worse, and be glad he existed for the time that he did.
