I've developed a habit- especially in the short stories- of killing off the Maybury brothers in increasingly horrible ways, and the real-life David Maybury is now trying to get his own back. In Frankenkids, the poor boys who are the victims of the terrible Uncle Fraser are named Landy, and the older one is called Derek...
I'm not going to tell you what terrible fate befalls them. All I will say is that David Maybury better watch out. In the next short story, he's getting his head cut off.

Ah, saying about it dying makes me sad, but it also makes me utterly determined to come on more and be less distant, which can only be a good thing~. It has been dying recently, true, but like Eve says, we've been saying it for a long time AND WE ANT LEFT YET! Eve also said that it wasn't dying because as long as people are here being happy, it isn't dying - BUT OFTEN PEOPLE AREN'T HERE BEING HAPPY. D: All too often I intend to come here then don't coz no one's on . . . Especially in the afternoons. Sometimes it's even all distanty in the MORNINGS. *shock horror*
Once or twice, when people have been leaving, I've remembered how much the leavers used to try and persuade others not to leave. Somewhere along the line, they'd changed opinions. I made a pledge to myself that when the time came that I wanted to leave Blogland, I wouldn't. I told myself I had to stay here, even if eventually I wouldn't want to. I INTEND TO UPHOLD THAT PLEDGE, AND I HOPE I DON'T CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT IT . . . Blogland is dying slightly. But at least it's a cheerful place. I believe news gens will eventually fill all the gaps and fix it, even if we're not around by then . . . :(
