For those of you who have read KOTW, first of all, I'm glad you seem to be liking it, but I'm going to have to ask you to be careful. And for those of you who haven't read it- which is the vast majority of you- I'm going to have to ask you to be EXTRA careful. There are spoilers all over the place, on forums and Facebook pages and Tumblr...
The heartening thing is that these spoilers don't pop out of thin air. Everything is tagged with spoiler warnings, which I really appreciate. But I know you lot. I know how impatient you can be. I know that if you're on a forum and you come to a post that's hidden behind a spoiler warning, and all it takes is one little click... I know how tempting it is to just sneak a teeny tiny peek...
Which could ruin the entire book for you.
We have, what, 35 days until it's widely available? That's a lot of days for mistakes to be made, or for something to slip out...
So be careful. I was never a fan of releasing this book so far in advance of the Ireland/UK date but I was convinced it was necessary in order to facilitate the tour. If it doesn't work out, it won't be happening again. I don't know what that would mean for any future Down Under tours, but I'll deal with that if it crops up.
So, I want to thank everyone for behaving themselves as far as spoilers go, and ask that they continue to be very, very careful about what they say.
And also, some of those spoilers (of which I am allowed to read, because, y'know, I wrote the book) and your reactions to them have made me grin...

We got this magazine from this random person in town yesterday and you know how you're not allowed to put the words "London", "2012", "Olympics" etc. on a banner together or you'll be prosecuted? Well the magazine had this picture of an Olympic althelete on the front and the headline was something about her wanting to win an Ilympic gold medal and the words "Olympic" "gold" "medal" "London" and "2012" all had these thick black lines through them! Obviouslx the editor of the magazine was trying to avoid prosecution . . .
It remind me of Derek's ded with all the black lines in.

My parents don't like the Tories. I think they used to be Lib-dem supporters but my mum switched to Labour after the last election. My mum says how the Labour government was building all these new schools and houses and blahdiblah and then the Tories came along and cut all those projects to save money, but now the Tories've realised we need jobs and they've started all these new projects to build houses and schools when Labour already had ones that had been started for ten years and it was a bit of a waste cutting them.

Okay, dedications. Is this third dedication in two days? Woooohooooooooo! I’m on a roll! Yay. I feel sorry for all of you, though. Because my dedications suck. Anyway, this dedication came into my mind earlier. When I was talking to someone…I refused to say goodbye. Goodbye is my least favourite word.
I hate having to say goodbye to someone that you truly love. It’s one of the most difficult things you ever have to do. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s difficult…
But you’d never have started to love someone without the word hello, right? The word hello, or any synonym of it – like hi, heya, hey, hiya, hiyur, hullo, hola, bonjour, hallo, gutentag etc. –is what tends to start it all. Without these words where would we be? Seriously, without these greetings starting conversations would be rather awkward. Most of the words that I say are most probably greeting, actually. I’d be lost without greetings…
However, goodbyes are the things that end it all. By saying goodbye it’s like killing a friendship. Murdering a relationship. I’ve said far too many goodbyes and I cannot even bare to say anymore. The goodbyes actually hurt to say. They physically hurt me and I just hope I will never have to say goodbye.
Friends shouldn’t have to say goodbye. Only one hello. Though, everything supposedly has its opposite, hellos are what the beginning to a friendship is. Friendships should not be killed- they’re precious.
And so, I dedicate to never having to say goodbye. Never having to lose those that you love, though we know it is inevitable. I also dedicate to these greetings that start it all. The greeting that start all these friendships and cause these smiles and laughs that are shared.
Leading on from that, I would like to dedicate to my best friends both here in Blogland and on the Facebook page. To start, I dedicate to Ellikins. Because she’s Ellikins and I adore her. I never want to say goodbye to her, because the hello that started it all has caused us to be closer than I could ever imagine.
And to Becky, Joe, Andrew, Nathan, Ashley and Olivia (a.k.a the rest of Le Gang) because the hellos we started with have made us all smile. We’ve helped each-other through so much and I adore them all. <3
Now to some of you Bloglandians. Let’s start with someone that gave me a huge ego boost today, Sparky. She’s tremendous and she is always there to give an encouraging smile and a nice word. She keeps me going every day, for which I thank her for.
Lynx and Star, I love them both to pieces. They were two of the first people I talked to here in Blogland and without them I’d not be here in Blogland, right now.
I’m just going to cut this short and dedicate to the rest of this generation of Bloglandians, because you’re all incredibly amazing and I adore you. *hugs*
And finally (because this is a really long dedication) to the older generations of Bloglandians that started it all. That started Blogland and have welcomed me into their lives.
