For those of you who have read KOTW, first of all, I'm glad you seem to be liking it, but I'm going to have to ask you to be careful. And for those of you who haven't read it- which is the vast majority of you- I'm going to have to ask you to be EXTRA careful. There are spoilers all over the place, on forums and Facebook pages and Tumblr...
The heartening thing is that these spoilers don't pop out of thin air. Everything is tagged with spoiler warnings, which I really appreciate. But I know you lot. I know how impatient you can be. I know that if you're on a forum and you come to a post that's hidden behind a spoiler warning, and all it takes is one little click... I know how tempting it is to just sneak a teeny tiny peek...
Which could ruin the entire book for you.
We have, what, 35 days until it's widely available? That's a lot of days for mistakes to be made, or for something to slip out...
So be careful. I was never a fan of releasing this book so far in advance of the Ireland/UK date but I was convinced it was necessary in order to facilitate the tour. If it doesn't work out, it won't be happening again. I don't know what that would mean for any future Down Under tours, but I'll deal with that if it crops up.
So, I want to thank everyone for behaving themselves as far as spoilers go, and ask that they continue to be very, very careful about what they say.
And also, some of those spoilers (of which I am allowed to read, because, y'know, I wrote the book) and your reactions to them have made me grin...

I really don't know. I mean, all good characters are powerful in one way or another. If they were ordinary, it would be too much like real life, and since we have real life every day, it would therefore be boring.

No character is overpowered. It can't be too powerful for a story because you can adjust stories round them to make things hard for them.

In a Role Playing thing, I had to fight a werwolf who could heal any injuries. That's just unfair. So, I came up with a character who could fight somone like that. But the unstopable werewolf is okay, and mine isn't.
Oh, and I used a magic they created, but I was still somehow overpowered (they made they bloddy magic) and I got the first 3 ever apparently. Which is bad
That's just unreasonable of them.

Not a good day?
I feel OFF. Just OFF. Today should have been fun....but every time I moved my leg it was like someone was jabbing it with a pocket knife... And I feel like I should be warm, but there are little prickles under my skin making me stay cold...and my head feels like someone stuffed a blanket in it.... And for some reason i'm finding WATER repulsive, so I had to actually force myself to drink it....and my throat feels horrible.... But I have homework and I have to wash my hair and then my big brother is making me play Slender, so I'm not going to just doze off....
But other than that, I feel fine.

My sister just starts crying to get people to do what she wants. It's trickery and I'm not falling for it. She thinks that if she looks at my all upset I'll play to keep her happy. Noppppe.
And I jyst find things like that funny. Like one time at school we were being shown a presentation and we were shown these dogs in a cage waiting to be killed and eaten, and everyone else was going "Awww!" and looking horrified, but I just couldn't stop laughing. I think it was because the persob showing us the presentation was delibratly trying to get a reaction out of us.

Stolen is one of the few stories I'm planning on getting published. This will have my main character just after a scene that everyone who reads my new Stolen read. So, I had a scene, then deleted it and re wrote it. But this character is being used just after this deleted scene
Ah... It might be easier without magic. It's a bit complicated because he's kind of immortal and if he dies he gets reborn and... Stuff. Maybe I should just choose another character.
