I'm finished the book.
It's only the first draft, granted. And I've finished it twelve days after I expected to be finished, also granted. And with the schedule so horrendously packed, I'm gonna have to start the edit by Sunday. But none of that takes away from the fact that I have finished Kingdom of the Wicked, and I am one happy writer-bunny.
My editor called this afternoon. He'd read most of it, and was just calling to give me the thumbs up. This, I have to say, was a relief. I've never written a book as quickly as I did this one, so I was worried that the quality might slip. Apparently it hasn't. This makes me happy. It's also LONGER than any of the others. Please keep in mind that the finished product might be significantly shorter, but at the moment this one is clocking in at 130,000 words- that's about 12,000 words longer than Death Bringer.
I am so, so drained. I need to play video games. I need to watch movies. I need to spend more than an hour away from my computer. But despite how drained I feel, I am buzzing with that wonderful, wonderful feeling of accomplishment that I always get when I finish a book. I am truly great.

My nightmares are inappropriate to be repeated on here....
I once dreamed that there was a bunch of aliens from Halo Reach trying to shoot me and I ran to my old school, where there was a group of people who smiled at me and started chanting "Darquesse" and trying to kidnap me, then my friend tried to and I pushed her off te railing to the stairs and ran, then I looked to my side and Skulduggery was there, then we got arrested and were in court and Skulduggery sent me to jail because he killed people and didn't want to take the blame.
Back. Just switched comps. Was using Dad's. Now on mine.
I try to do homework, mind goes out the window... I just CAN'T find the focus to do it.

That sounds like a fun dream! Imagine vampire + inappropriate unwanted things, then you get one of my more pleasant nightmares...If you get what I mean...
A different time Skulduggery was eating a 3 foot long piece of raw meat and offered to share it with me. I said no, and sometime later I got mad at my sister and thre her over the mountain that was there. Then she jumped back and scowled and skulduggery came outside, wagged a finger at me and said, "Bad. Bad bad bad. Bad."
Good to know that I'm not the only one who has weird dreams. :P
Again, much more fun than my nightmares and my description of my nightmare in it's most pleasant form...

The funniest dream I think I've ever had was when Caelan would NOT stop following me and saying, "I love you" over and over again. So finally I turned to him and said, "Stay in this room, I'll be right back." So I left. And when I came back in, what did I find? Caelan strangling Edward, saying, "VALKYRIE'S MINE!"

I had a scary DREAM though. Different than a nightmare.
I was being chased by zombies at school, and something blew up the vending machine(yeah, we had one) and under it there was a water gun(only looked like a water gun, I think it was real) and a zombie was coming at me so I shot it, then I woke up. I think that was the shortest dream I had. Or as I'm describing it.

One of my scariest dreams - I don't know if it was a nightmare, but it seemed like one - was that I was in the Necromancer temple or something, and I was supposed to be doing something important, but I messed everything up by bumping into a statue that started bleeding. So the Necromancers were super angry and I barely managed to escape, and when I did I ran to my school. But when I got to the school, on the intercom was Craven - I think - and he said that there were bombs by the doors and we couldn't get out, and even if we did they had brought dinosaurs back from the dead to patrol and kill anyone who escaped. But I did escape, and when I got outside I saw a zombie dinosaur, and I ran as fast as I could to hide in the corner so it wouldn't see me. I got away and once the dinosaur passed I walked into the light and saw a raindrop fall in front of me. But it wasn't a raindrop - it was a drop of black blood that was raining from the sky...
Bah, it's Terragon...
