I'm finished the book.
It's only the first draft, granted. And I've finished it twelve days after I expected to be finished, also granted. And with the schedule so horrendously packed, I'm gonna have to start the edit by Sunday. But none of that takes away from the fact that I have finished Kingdom of the Wicked, and I am one happy writer-bunny.
My editor called this afternoon. He'd read most of it, and was just calling to give me the thumbs up. This, I have to say, was a relief. I've never written a book as quickly as I did this one, so I was worried that the quality might slip. Apparently it hasn't. This makes me happy. It's also LONGER than any of the others. Please keep in mind that the finished product might be significantly shorter, but at the moment this one is clocking in at 130,000 words- that's about 12,000 words longer than Death Bringer.
I am so, so drained. I need to play video games. I need to watch movies. I need to spend more than an hour away from my computer. But despite how drained I feel, I am buzzing with that wonderful, wonderful feeling of accomplishment that I always get when I finish a book. I am truly great.

I think i might have to go on a bike ride today.
*groans*
The last time i went on my bike, i almost fainted, and the time before that, i DID faint.
So i'd rather stay OFF my bike, seeing as neither time was a very nice experiance.
I've fainted or almost fainted three times in my entire life. Once was when i went climbing a fea days after having flu, the other two were bike rides.

Although admittedly my village in on pretty steep hill and i forgot about my gears. *cringe*
The other time was when i had a flat tyre.
I didn't learn till year three coz in ipswitch where we used to live there was nowhere for us to learn. There was up here though.

I love riding bikes. Don't really know how gears work, but I would ride EVERYWHERE on a bike. But that was before the bike got too small for me. I gave it to my younger friend.
Now I wish I had a bike...

My dad cycles to work every day unless the weather's really bad.
Everyone in our family has a bike. With gears.
I once had a bike. Then I ignored it, so Mum gave it away.
Veeeery interesting story there.
We go on family bike rides in the summer.
And on family walks. My brother and sister prefer ths bike rides. I've always prefered the walks. I love walks.
Actually, we go on bike rikes in the spring as well and we can go on walks in any season.
Not sure if I even WANT to learn how gears work. Too confusing to me. I love walking too. Before the bike, I would walk everywhere. No joke. EVERYWHERE. Now?

If i didn't really use my bike, i wouldn't not have one. I'd just not have a real expensive one.
Whenever we grow out if our bikes we either get our older siblings' one passed down to us or buy a new one. There is no escaping the bikes.

I know you are our Golden God soooooo it's kind of your duty to oversee all your less awesome but still pretty cool subjects blogs. It was just started today but it has alll the wit adn charm a god blog needs.
"What?" I asked.
Sparky walked over. "Shads, I think you better sit down. Just for a bit." she said.
"But i feel great." I said, confused.
"That's the point. Please, sit down. Let it pass." I sat down while Sparky went to help the others move the bodies so they were hidden by machines. Robin walked over and sat next to me on the floor.
"You did great." she said.
I looked at the bodies that had been chopped in half. There were more than a few. "So did you." I said.
"Come on. You seem all right now. I think she's gone." Robin smiled then clamped her hand to her mouth like she had said something she wasn't meant to.
"Who's gone?" I asked.
"Doesn't matter. Come on." she said and we helped to hide the bodies.
But somewhere at the back of my mind, something was screaming, wanting to be let out.
"Soon..." Elaisse whispered in my unconscious "Soon..."
