The giant circular cavern room was full of ornamental objects. Daggers and swords hung tidily on the wall, vases with beautiful designs spiralling around it sat on podiums hung around the huge room. The room was empty for now, an eeriness to it, soon to be full to the brim with people from the twelve provinces of Alvekstine. The room that was cold, dark and gloomy lit up now, twelve sets of big double oak doors swinging open around the walls.
Crowds filled the giant room, in big, breathless groups. All of them were from the twelve provinces of Avlekstine, the magical realm situated on the third star of the constellation of Orion's belt. The portals were situated behind the twelve sets of oak doors, the doors now closed. They were jammed solid and only will be opened after this council is over, then again not until another hundred years, till the next council of the warlords of Alvek. The crowd was mumbling and talking among themselves, each group wearing different attire denoting groups within their provinces. Silence flowed over the room in one wave, crashing down upon them as a majestic tall standing woman walked out from a large black door behind a gold, jewel set throne.
The woman was rigid and walked with complete gracefulness no mortal could achieve. Her high standing and breathtaking beauty made people fear her, but also love her at the same time. Her name, Empires Sachune. Clarissa Sachune pulled her lacy white dress up and turned to face the crowd. They gasped as she sat down on the golden throne with a slightly evil smile on her face. She tapped her fingers in the solid gold arm of the throne and the big circle around the throne fell, slowly descending into itself, closing up.
Around the golden throne twelve smaller thrones made of stone erected from the floor, each sat on by the twelve warlords. The thrones were smaller than the gold one top show the significance of the Empires.
The warlords are looked bored, some more than others.
Flame Phoenix sat slumped, his head resting on his hand, his hand resting on his elbow, his elbow resting on his throne. He sighed as his province cheered with delight. Phoenix hated the council meetings, they were overrated in his opinion. His personal guard sat crouched in front of him, watching, waiting intently. The guard was made up of the four best warriors from his province, Darveckle Claw, Sparrow Delavur, Leone Atous and Elise Evelyn. They waited breathing softly and silently, anticipating something, something bad. They felt it.
