And I told her that when I'm in the moment, and when I tried to kill myself, i didn't think that she cared- and that for one sweet moment.. I could think about myself.
I've taken bottles before, of melatonin, but I know it won't kill me. I'll just sleep deeply...but, you know... For a few moments, it is just really nice to pretend.
I am extremely tired for some reason, probably due to the lack of sleep in the past few months ^_^

Trying to simply will away clinical depression is like trying to will away cancer.
For Noelle, depression has progressed beyond just sadness. Her brain is physically not producing chemicals that she needs in order to feel happy.
I can also say that Noelle Purcell is one of the most resilient people I have ever known, and she does want to get better. She does make a conscious effort. She speaks regularly with a doctor. She was prescribed medicine to try to help her. It didn't, so she went back and asked for better medicine. She has made active efforts to stop harming herself.
And still she is depressed, because she is suffering from clinical depression, and willpower is not enough to end her very physical illness.
She has been told numerous times before that she needs to be motivated to get better, and while again, I do appreciate the intentions of those who have told her that, it doesn't help her. Because she is trying, but she is also dealing with a physical illness that she cannot control by trying to change her mood. So it makes her feel as though they don't understand, and it frustrates her because she is trying so hard, and gaining so little from her efforts.
Personally, I really don't care all that much about what Fera said- from my perspective, his intentions were good, the effect they had on Noelle were bad, the escalation of conflict was bad, and now it's over. But I think it should be explained that Noelle is trying her hardest, and that while the significance of the word depression has faded with overuse, actual clinical depression cannot be reversed by power of will alone"

I posted this the other day, but it is mantra..
Mine is... A crippling ailment, like a broken leg. It's impossible to try to pretend it isn't there. I don't have the energy to try to be happy. I can't be happy because no one loves me. I can't because, even though people tell me that they love me, I can't feel it. Everyone here says that they love me- they very well may love me- but I can't feel it. I can't believe it. I just can't, and I can't change that. Willpower is... Passing dust. It's a joke. No amount of willpower could heal a broken leg, or heal HIV, and for me, no amount of willpower can ensure that dopamine remains in the synaptic gap between my neurons for longer periods of time. Literally, the chemicals that make me happy are absorbed too quickly, or not enough is released at all- and I can not just wish that away.
That's why my situation is just... So hard.
Because words from other people are useless to me. I appreciate the sentiment, sure, but in the end, it can't do anything for me. I don't feel anything, and I don't have the energy to try to make myself feel- because it is useless, in the end.
Kind words just fall upon my deaf ears, and kind actions go unnoticed by my blindness. I can't see it- and I don't know how to fix it. It's infuriating sometimes how people tell me to "just be strong", because it isn't as if I'm trying to fix myself. I am. Of course I am. I'm just tired from running again and again into brick walls.
I just can't move some days. I want to sleep all day. I've slept so much... My body is just utterly depleted. I don't have any energy to try for others. I can't. I won't.

Ok Anjali. Here are my characters.
Chione Asahina - Mother of Lira and Lucas Soul, married to Blake Soul. Is the goddess of snow but can therefore also manipulate water and ice too. She had to deal with her husband's supposed death and went a little insane. Then he came back then left her again to raise the two children on her own.
The twins - Lira and Lucas. They're demi gods because their mother is a god but their father isn't. They grow faster than normal humans which is why even though they're only one, they're at the height, look and learning ability of a 5 year old currently.
Tsubaki Asahina (forgot about him to be honest, he's completly free)
Twin brother to Chione, God of healing. They got separated as children and only recently found each other.
Jesabelle - is a wolf
love intrest of Annabelle, used to be leader of her pack but got tricked my her new mate and thrown from a cliff. He took her pack and her two pups.
Juvia - has been bullied and picked on all of her life as she manipulates water and it's always raining when she's around.
Sebastian and Cordelia: twin brother and sister. One changes into a scythe whilst the other weilds it, They used to be cannabals as children to stay qlive.
Ariadne Silver - works at Trips bar as he saved her life from zombies. She's the goddess of passion and mazes and can change her apperance at will
Hecate - goddess of magic and necromancy and Chione's bad side.

That happened, or something similar to two of my friends' iPads. On top of that sometimes the screen went completely red so we just figured that Satan got bored or something, it's been like that for months now, I think once it happens fixing it is what needs to be done unless you can live with it. If it's still under warranty I'd pursue that route.

@Raven: Oh, it happens because I dropped it on the car park a year ago and the screen smashed and over time a bit of glass dug into the side. I've now got the bit of glass out, but there's, like, a MARK on the material behind it now. And my phone screen is covered in cracks, so there's every chance over bits of glass are digging in and stuff. I don't think you get insured against being a klutz. XD
