I just remembered that I was actually really frustrated about an hour ago because some kid wouldn't leave me alone. But when I'm angry I'm scary, and when I'm scary I'm not fun. I pulled out my phone and the second I started pushing buttons the kid took off running.

I think China Sorrows is an excellent example of why We Do Not Annoy Librarians. I haven't been able to create the mood-shifting attack bookshelves, but I'm researching it. Harper Collins, you have been warned.

I DID IT!!! I posted it on my Tumblr. And here's the thrilling tale of how it was achieved.
It all started when I opened a new tab. I went to tumblr.com and struggled to remember my password. But thankfully, just before I was about to give up in despair, I remembered it! Tears of joy were shed, the crowd went wild, etc. etc.
I uploaded a picture of the new Skulduggery Pleasant cover on a brand new post. I copy-and-pasted the link. I wrote a marvellous recommendation...(it was marvellously short and to the point, most unlike this post)... and it said "THE AWESOMEST SERIES EVER - SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND IT. PASS IT ON."
I hit enter, and my post was sent off into cyberspace, there to see for ALL my followers!
I leant back in my chair and sighed, content. Then I sat up straight once more and wrote this post.

Derek: I love the Skulduggery series very much. I stumbled upon the first book at a thrift store of all places, but since then have become a huge fan of your work. I'm on pins and needles [and have been for over two years] as I wait for the rest of the series to finally come to the US. I can't believe we're three books behind! Insanity, I say!
I also have great hopes for the eventual movie series. I have certain people I visualize when I think of characters [Like either Tiny Lister and Michael Clarke Duncan for Mr. Bliss, for example].. But I'm sure that you do, as well!
I'm gonna promote my little heart out, if that means there's a greater chance to bring more SP to the US!

Only she's been through so much in her life and suffered through such a lot which I shan't disclose unless I have her permission and I think she really deserves to win. It's her birthday on November 14th and this would be the most amazing birthday present ever. She'd be so thrilled and delighted.
Because although obviously you are the Golden God and created this blog and bought us all together I honestly think that Kallista is the heart and soul of our community. Derek Landy, I want you to know that every word of this is true. I have become depressed. My life's so much more complicated than it used to be a few months ago. I was fine until middle school. But now...
I have spent hours crying. I'm easily upset. I have about 4 friends in total, 3 of which are very dear to me, yet I hardly see them. I've been called things by people I don't know that offend me, and my thoughts have been clouded with stress. I need something - something to distract me. I need a distraction, and that distraction needs to be so durastically filled with enjoyment on my side that my stress and depression can be overcome. You helped me greatly by that post with a photo of my party in it, and that would've been classed as the worst day of my life had you not done that. But even then, the excitement was dampened by my negative feelings. The most happy thing since Christmas was you doing that for me, and yet I was more sad than happy. And on Christmas, do you know what I was happy about? It was Dark Days and Mortal Coil. Luckily, my mom had her camera - she got a picture with the look of pure, unconditional happiness. I just don't know what to do, Derek. Maybe you could help me? I have to go now. If you read this, will you give me some way of knowing?
