Because... cause my kids went with friends to protest a circus, and they're not home yet and I've already had 5 straight hours to be totally self-indulgent, and now I'm bored, omd. Kind of like how a slot machine gives you a tiny payoff every few pulls to keep you playing... do you have slot machines in Ireland? So maybe that's a bad idea, but it doesn't matter, because I've already verified that NARWHAL WISHES come true!

I blame my dad for this. Do you have any idea how many times we had to drive back to the house to check that the oven was off when I was little... or around the block cause we hit a tiny bump and he was sure he'd run over someone even though there were no pedestrians for miles. At least I'm not a hand-washer!
