I thought it was sweet of you to try to protect everyone from that conversation, Dragona. I love how loyal and protective you are of your friends. Getting into a verbal imaginary competition with him does not appear to be an effective strategy. That's ok! Cause honestly, it's not like I can think of anything better. But you guys get into these things where you try to outdo each other, and nobody will yield and it just escalates.
Maybe instead of telling him what to do, tell him - dog, this is so cliche, but whatever - tell him how you feel about how he's interacting with you and people you care about. It's really up to him how he behaves, but if he knows how it's affecting people and how it could influence their feelings about him, maybe he'd behave differently.
