Well... I have this certain important ending thing that happens, but the actual battle in between is hazy.... I mean... I have SOME idea how i want it to span out, but how to actually WRITE it is a whole 'nother thing! but i can't tell you... 'cause it's secret and an occurance that I've thought about from the very beginning.
In a battle scene, you want to be detailed but not as float as it would normally be, try to keep your sentences actiony and to the point, and make sure you doing miss anything important.
But I'm betting that some of those reading have already gotten ideas about something that's going to happen. ~narrows eyes at them all~ stop imagining stuff! I want it to be a surprise! I want you to be like, ~jaw drops~ "Oh no! What's going to happen??!??! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?!? you must write more!! I need to find out how this goes!! I have to see if ________ _________!!!!"
This is a random non-magical fight scene, one-on-one-on-one, that I just wrote.

Everisse drew her sword and lunged at Lily, tip pointed at her throat. Lily sidestepped, and Kallista caught Everisse on the back of the head with a roundhouse kick. Her arrows weren't going to be of much use in a long-range fight. Everisse stumbled, and Kallista pushed past her to meet Lily, fist already coiled back to deliver a blow. Lily blocked the punch with her staff, and this time Everisse came in and slashed at the two of them. The sword found a target in Skyril's arm, and she shouted in pain, as Lily leapt back and swung at Everisse with her staff, this tine catching her in the stomach, making her double over. Skyril swept a foot against the back of Everisse's knees, and she fell. Lily jabbed at her throat with the staff, but she rolled and jumped up. She sprinted, and this time she managed to graze the side of Lily's neck with her blade. Lily howled and dropped her staff, her hands flying up to cover her wound. At that, Skyril pulled an arrow from her quiver and stabbed it into Lily's stomach. Lily collapsed, and Skyril and Everisse turned to each other. Everisse attacked first, this time, feinting and then jabbing at Skyril's neck, going straight in for the kill. Skyril ducked, and landed a jab into Everisse's jaw. She threw herself at Everisse, who dropped her sword. Everisse stood, defenseless, and Skyril was reaching up to pull put an arrow when Skulduggery Pleasant crashed through the window, gun raised.
Just read it! I'm not much into fight scenes - it's really, really hard not to just skim over them to the end and see who won. Very well done, though! I love the last line.
