A few days ago, I got a brand new niece to add to my collection. Little Clara can now join the twins as they scuttle along the floor, with their cousin Sophie looking on with great amusement.
And as I promised, Valkyrie's brand new sibling will be following suit- so Val is getting a little sister. Yay!

Well... Japan always was a region with lot's of earthquakes. But now there are those nuclear power plants endangered... don't get me wrong, I don't really care for power plants, but if they get destroyed...

I'm really scared right now. No, not for me, but for Japan. An 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, creating a tsunami that's been swamping the island of Honshu. It's the most powerful earthquake that's hit Japan in the past 300 years, and the 7th strongest in world history. Apparently, Hawaii, Indonesia, the Philippines, and possibly even the west coast or the U.S. and Canada are under tsunami warnings as well. In Japan, four million homes were without electricity, hundreds of people are dead, and hundreds more are missing.
Why am I telling you this? Yes, we're just kids. We can't do much. But we can PRAY. Some people may be thinking "Thalia, what are you talking about? Praying doesn't do anything." And my response to that is "Your point?" It may not to much physically, but I'm sure that people who have lost family members, or are dying, or are already dead, would like to know that someone, somewhere, is thinking of them. I know that I would if I were in that situation. We're all very fortunate that the place we live is very safe from these sorts of things. We're so very, very lucky. So if you would, please please please pray, hope, wish, it doesn't matter. Keep those affected by this disaster in your thoughts and in your heart. Thank you.
