We are in Afghanistan, although most people in Germany didn't want this. Most of us still dislike every kind of taking action in a military way, but... we're part of the EU and the NATO, so we don't really have a choice.
Well, if you ask me, the other knews are even worse. Some people sold medicine, partly paid by our government and meant for poor people in Africa in Germany instead, just to earn more money.

Yeh, we did about it when we were doing WW1. When countries were allies, when the countries went to war, the allies had to back them up no matter what they wanted. But the good thing is they could have a stronger millitary. And that medicine thing sounds bad too.
Dunno if our military is strong or not. I just wish we wouldn't have any military at all... at least our soldiers aren't forced to kill. Even if they already made a contract they can still say that they won't do it. You can't force them. As far as I know that's pretty unique, I never heard about another army with rules like ours.

After second world war the allies took every machine, every factory, in fact everything that could have been of use with them. And we weren't allowed to have an army. And Germany was separated... Guess there's nothing worse than loosing a war... Although it's still better than if Germany had won.
Or did you know that Germany was paying reparations from the first WW all the way up to last year to France? It took that much time because they wanted A LOT of money.
Yeah... we learnt after world war one the way we punised the Germans was so harsh that it led up to world war 2 ...
if we weren't so harsh on them it might never of happened ...tey blamed them for the start of the war but they had nothing to do wit the start they were just following the treaty when they joined the war

The same thing happened to me once. A bird smashed into our window and nearly killed itself. My mum loves birds, so she picked it up in a layre of tissues and put it in my dad's range rover. We drove a few miles to a vet, and he managed to save the bird, and gave it to an RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) and they let it go, but it can't always end up like that. We were lucky having a vet close-ish by, and it's only because of my mum that we would have saved it.
Well, I don't live in the city. The nearest city is Manchester and that's about 40 miles away. I live in the country. The nearest town is 10 miles away, but we have a small town 5 miles away, like a REALLY small down, nearly just a large village, that has 3 vets in it. But I live in a TINY village, with like 10 houses in it, but it is classed as a village.
Leaving close to each other you might have already met. Just imagine: what if both of you were in Manchester at the same time and same place, but didn't know each other... would be kind of funny.^^
